100 Days until graduation.

On Thursday January 29 which is today, I am 100 days from graduation. I am not a fan of school and never have been. Since I was a little boy I have always looked forward to the day when I didn't have to go to school. And 100 days from now I will be done with the major amount of school that I will ever have to go too. I can't wait to walk across that stage and move on to the "real world". I know that one day I will look back on these times here at Clemson and miss them, but that will not be any time soon. I am thankful for being able to finish school and graduating.

In ten years...

In ten years I would like to be raising a family, running a successful business, working to keep my business up and running. I would like to be living somewhere near where I group up in Ravenel SC. My personal and professional life will be closely related since I will own my a small business. But I want to be able to take time off with my family and not be so busy that I don't ever get to see them. I want a simple lifestyle, nothing extravagant. I just want to be able to provide for my family.

The Machine is Us/ing Us

I think that the title of the video is saying that machines today are running our lives. Between the computers, cell phones, Black Berries, and Ipods machines really are controlling our lives. These devices make communication constant and allow a free flow of information 24 hours a day from all over the world.
Web 2.0 can affect people who are ready to enter the work force greatly. They must be knowledgeable and proficient at using all of the different devices of todays internet.
It effects people already in the workforce by making communication less personal. In many ways it is easier to express your opinions using the internet. I think that this will help companies by allowing everyone to give their opinion.
We must rethink everything because the machines that we are all so used to in todays world have shaped our lives. No one ever leaves the house without their phone and if they do they go back to get it. It has impacted our lives, with the free flow of communication.
